Song Jinhua

Biography

Jinhua is currently enrolled in PhD studies in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supervised by Professor Zhisong Qu. She obtained the degree of Bachelor of Sciences in Physics, from NTU.

Research Interests

Jinhua is working on developing a numerical scheme to model collisional processes in fusion plasmas. The scheme will be implemented in the GYSELA simulation code and verified through dedicated studies. The goal of the new collision operator is to investigate the role of collisions in plasma turbulence.
