Biography

Thura Kaung Htet is an MSc student in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supervised by Dr. Kyungtak Lim. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astrophysics (BSc Hons) at the University of Glasgow.

Research Interests

Thura’s interest is in numerical and analytical treatments of turbulence physics and self-organising turbulence structures in tokamaks. His current research focuses on extending contemporary geodesic acoustic mode (GAM) scaling theory to account for complex plasma shaping parameters.
