Tim Rzesacz
Biography
Tim Rzesacz is a Research Assistant at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computational Physics at Carnegie Mellon University in 2026. Since briefly working at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore in summer 2025, he has been interested in developing his computational research skills in plasma physics and fusion science.
Research Interests
Tim’s research focuses on fluid-based modelling of turbulence in the boundary plasmas of magnetic confinement fusion devices. He is particularly interested in developing numerical simulation codes to study turbulent transport, boundary-plasma dynamics, and plasma–wall interactions.
