Yvonne Ban

Biography

Yvonne Ban is a PhD student in the Department of Physics in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She obtained a B.Sc from Harvey Mudd College in 2017 with a major in physics and a concentration in music, and an M.Sc. in Astronomy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2022.

Research Interests

Yvonne is currently investigating the effects of perturbations of the tokamak magnetic fields on plasma transport. In general, she is interested in simulation and big data analysis techniques for physics.
